Information about Municipal libraries

Loan of Books, Audio Cassette Tapes and CDs
Number of items that can be borrowed : Books are up to 15 per person.
CDs and cassette tapes are up to 6 per person and cassette tapes are only available in Setagaya central, Fukasawa and Kami-kitazawa libraries.
Period of Loan : Two weeks per person for once.You need to bring your library card for borrowing items at municipal libraries.To sign up a library card, bring your I.D such as your Resident Registration Card, Student I.D.card or driver's license.
◆Other Services
Reservation Services：
If you cannot find the book you are looking for in the library, you can order the book.The library will do its utmost to meet your request through such means as ordering the book from other libraries or purchasing it.
You can search for books in other libraries as well through OPAC (On-line Public Access Catalog)
Research Consultation：
Library staff can help you with reference materials and research.
Photocopy Service：
You can make photocopies of library materials with the copy machine at the library.(There is a charge for this service.)
For those who cannot use the library due to visual or orthopedic disabilities : such services as "Person-to-Person Reading, " "Borrowing Recorded Books" and "Book Delivery Service" are available (In Japanese only)
Group Borrowing：
Books can be borrowed together by community groups and organizations
＊All services, other than photocopying, are offered free of charge.

Making reservation, borrowing and returning.
A library card is available. to the library materials that are reserved can be.
Number of items loaned at a time and loan period are same as municipal library.
